We absolutely love this very special original 1964 Polish poster by Witold Chmielewski “Dr Crippen Przed Sadem” and it is in almost perfect condition. He designed it for the British crime drama film starring Donald Pleasance as the notorious Dr. Hawley Harvey Crippen and the real life story of how he was hanged in London in 1910 for poisoning his wife so he could be with his young lover.

Polish posters were printed in strictly limited runs to be displayed in town centres, theatres and cinemas - so any which survive have been lovingly rescued along the way.
