This original vintage Polish theatre poster is an absolute classic from the Polish School of Posters. This copy is the second edition of the original 1964 print run by legendary artist Jan Lenica for a production of famous French ‘opera Faust’ by Charles Gounod in the Teatr Wielki.

This beautiful poster is held in museums around the world including the V&A and the Stedelijk.

Polish posters were printed in strictly limited runs to be displayed in town centres, theatres and cinemas - so any which survive have been lovingly rescued along the way.
